christmas eve

the first christmas that matt doesn't live at home.
holidays are so hard. evrybody feels like everybody else is expecting something, material or otherwise from them.

well we just finished with over 17 days of temperatures over 100 degrees!

hot hot hot

over 100 degrees again today, feel like a lazy lizard.

some one called me up today to commission a large oder of dyed wool!
wow! i might have to buy some more.

monday, monday

what a nice and easy day!
just six kids and a co worker.
went on a very long walk.
and then another one.

a long weekend

it was a wonderful long weekend, i totally forgot about work, which means I didn't do all that i should

wool, wool wool

ok i did it!
now i have twenty MORE pounds of wool,
i've been mordanting all weekend and haven't gotten to the new stuff yet

went to see the movie migrations and dinner at a thai resturante in sacramento
night on the town, we were home by 6:30

wild thing

ok i m gonna do a crazy thing.............
i m buying 20 lbs of wool and gonna dye and sell it and the waldorf homeschooling conference!
and silk cloths too!
why?
just for the fun of it!

sometimes you get what you need

today i had the day off, a week day!
so of course i went thirft store shopping...............
drove past the used furniture store and what do i see.............
three armd chairs!
just what i was thinking i needed for the new little ones
at the shop i had to wait and wait, nearly gave up.
glad i waited the woman was pleasant.....
she said she had just gotten them in yesterday, that she almost never gets children's furniture and ever one asks for it!~
thank heaven for small favors right?

ah a new day..................

well today went more smoothly......yeah!
it was a beautiful day, spent a long time in the garden, ate lots of plums.
i was so clever, i took a four day week so today has felt like friday all day long.

so where did it go?

ah spent a whole minute being thoughtful and it got lost.................

ok so now its real!

still trying to figure this all out, one of those times you wish you were a nerd!

talking to a collegue who also had a "challenging" day
at least i m so tired that i will sleep well

one of the most amaxing things about working with young children is that you learn so much about youself, usually your short comings are the most obvious but other things you can notice too.

wow ok this is it! what would i have to say that would be of interest to anyone outside of my own head?
can't really say, i'm guessing that no one else will really read this so i'm safe.
today was a tiring day! decided to change the schedule all a round, yesterday was the first day, a piece of cake!
today tuesday, mars day and i felt like i had to push it all through with my WILL, good thing it can be strong!
